Seth Thomas No. 17 Regulator, Thomaston, Connecticut, c. 1885, with walnut case, full-length glazed door, 18 in. dia. painted zinc dial with Arabic numerals and marked Seth Thomas , eight-day trapezoidal shaped movement mounted on an iron frame with deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, seconds beating pendulum, and brass weight, ht. 66 in. Some loose case components on pedestal requiring re-gluing. Movement, dial, hands, pendulum and brass cased weight are the originals. No significant repairs or restoration.
