Small Whalebone Veneer Trinket Box with Pierced Decoration, late 18th/early 19th century, rectangular covered box with brass handles and escutcheon, the top and sides with thin slats of panbone applied to wood with pierced close-pattern decoration, (imperfections), ht. 3 1/2, wd. 8 1/2, dp. 4 5/8 in. Missing one hinge the other not attached, losses to bone- sliver at l.l. front, three corner losses.
