Partial Blue Transfer-decorated Staffordshire Pottery Tea Set and an Erie Canal Plate , England, early 19th century, the tea set with teapot, creamer, six tea bowls and saucers depicting a stag and dog in a woodland glade; the plate with printed title ERIE CANAL VIEW OF THE AQUEDUCT BRIDGE AT LITTLE FALLS, fifteen pieces total, (imperfections), ht. 1 1/4-6 1/4; plate dia. 8 1/8 in. Teapot with a few glaze losses on cover, finial reglued to cover, spout with old reglue to body and chips on tip; creamer- good; tea bowls- two with rim chips; two with glaze wear on scallop tips; Erie plate2 in. hairline, small rim chip, spots of glaze wear around cavetto.
