Cobalt-decorated Stoneware Batter Jug, "COWDEN & WILCOX, HARRISBURG, PA," one and one half-gallon jug with stylized cobalt leaves, wire bail, with wooden handle, (crack, chips), ht. 9 in. The crack starts 2/3 from top at rear of jug down to base and onto base several inches. There is a 3/4 in. interior rim chip, and three small shallow spout chips.
