Attributed to Lawrence Carmichael Earle (American, 1845-1921) The Wood Carver's Little Apprentices Unsigned. Oil on canvas, 12 1/2 x 10 1/2 in. (30.5 x 26.6 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, retouch, fine craquelure, bloom/surface grime u.r., light scattered surface abrasions. The work is lined with wax adhesive and a solid support. Retouch is many dots and small areas throughout as well as along the bottom edge. Fine craquelure is stable. The work would benefit from a gentle cleaning.
