Continental School, 19th Century Lake Geneva and the Chateau de Chillon Signed "A George-" l. l., identified in an inscription on the reverse. Oil on canvas, 30 x 43 1/2 in. (76.2 x 110.4 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, retouch, surface grime, craquelure. Scattered retouch to all quadrants, retouch over two restored tears spanning u.l., l.l., and l.r. quadrants measuring approx. 30 in. length horizontally and 9 1/2 in. length vertically, scattered fine craquelure.
