Unsigned, sailing vessels inscribed l.c., Mayflower inscribed "J.S.J." l.r., both images of Glencairn inscribed "COPYRIGHT 1896, BY J.S. JOHNSTON, N.Y." l.r. Albumen prints on paper, approximate sizes 6 1/2 x 8 1/4 in. (16.5 x 21.0 cm), unframed. Condition: Minor wear/nicks to edges, Mayflower with small crease u.l., toning, mild rippling. Literature: One of the views of Glencairn presented here (image no. 402) was published in Forest and Stream magazine, July 25, 1896, pg. 76. There are no further issues to report.
