Max Kaus (German, 1891-1977) Sinnendes Mädchen, c. 1923, edition of 8 (Moeller, 57). Signed "MKaus..." in pencil (within the image) l.l., numbered "3 - 8" in pencil l.r. Lithograph in black and tan on paper, image size 16 3/4 x 18 7/8 in. (42.5 x 47.8 cm), framed. Condition: Foxing, toning, subtle fading, unobtrusive rippling, not examined out of frame. The foxing and toning are very visible. There are also areas of staining. Although it has not been examined out of its frame (it is in a clip frame that cannot be safely opened), there are no additional issues to report.
