Alexander Calder (American, 1898-1976) Lot of Two Works: La Croix sur le soleil , edition of 90; and Untitled , edition of 100. Both signed "Calder" in pencil l.r. and numbered in pencil l.l., the former identified on a label from the Galerie Moderne at Brentano's, New York, on the reverse. Color lithographs on paper, image sizes to 21 1/2 x 28 in. (54.5 x 71.0 cm), framed. Condition: Unobtrusive toning, fading (almost exclusively to Croix ), not examined out of frames. Both are toned. Croix is faded. Although they have not been removed from their frames, there are no other visible condition issues to report.
