Artist-Designed Choker, Hans Appenzeller, Amsterdam, c. 1980s, designed as a series of undulating S-curves in white metal, lg. 14 3/4 in., unsigned, in a signed box. Note: Mr. Appenzeller is a Dutch artist who has been designing jewelry for thirty years. His work was exhibited in Jewelry as Sculpture as Jewelry at the ICA, Boston, in 1974, the British Crafts Centre in London, and in various Dutch museums.
