Blue and White Jar, China, 20th century, late Ming style, the bulbous body separated by double bow strings into three sections, the midsection painted in the "windswept" style with scenes of officials traveling on horseback flanked by attendants in a landscape, above a band of plantain leaves and below another of peony sprays alternating in profile and viewed from above, all below narrow bands of wave and key-fret design, ht. 14 1/4 in. Minor kiln flaws
