Cromwellian-style Cuirassier's Steel Breast and Back Plate, 19th century, each with remnants of leather strapping, brass studs, and attached two-section fauld/skirt, lg. approx. 19 in. polished exterior surfaces, black patinated interior. denting to top center piece of the front skirt. losses to leather strapping. right edge of breast plate with indistinct mark and number 49. some light rusting. overall wear and light denting.
