William IV Caned Mahogany Bergere, c. 1835, with curved cresting and backrest with scrolled hand-holds, loose cushion seat on circular turned legs, seat ht. to cushion 14, wd. 19, dp. 21 in. Cresting with cracks to backs of cresting rail and joints to bottom of arm supports; very murky finish which has turned opaque; replaced caning in good shape; age typical additional minor defects.
