Mason's Ironstone Chinoiserie Mantel Urn, mid-19th century, paneled baluster form, the lid with addorsed dolphin finial, body with dragon handles at neck, printed with cartouches of figures and with foliate banding, with polychrome overpainting and iron red overpainted ground, ht. 16 in. Scattered ares of flaking to the red enameling at the neck, shoulder and along the footrim. No signs of cracks, chips or restorations.
