American Classical Mahogany Miniature Bookcase Cabinet, mid-19th century, molded cornice above a pair of arched and glazed doors; projecting lower section with a pair of drawers and a pair of doors, on a plinth base, ht. 54 1/2, wd. 24 3/4, dp. 12 1/2 in. Upper section in very good condition with the exception of minor shrinkage to veneers in upper part of left door and three veneer chips to left door edges (pcs present); lower section with gapping to doors; age typical additional minor defects throughout.
