Renaissance Revival Carved Oak Pedestal, c. 1885, rectangular top above a frieze carved with incised scrolls and shells, ribbed and tapered standard applied with circular flowerheads and base with applied shells and C-scrolls, ht. 39, wd. 18, dp. 16 in. Repaired shrinkage crack to top; small loss to one shell in center of apron; small loss to one of the mounted flowerheads to column; multiple shrinkage cracks to stem; losses to two applied C-scrolls to base; age typical additional minor defects.
