French Gilt-metal Wheel-form Timepiece, late 19th century, formed as a callipered wheel with twelve spokes, each mounted with black enameled shield-shaped numeral, set onto base formed as a chuck with a section of chain, easel backing, ht. 8 1/2 in. Property sold for the benefit of the Brooklyn Museum. good, with minor wear. hands off, but present. no key. not guaranteed to be in working order.
