Late Georgian Mahogany Work Table, late 18th century/early 19th century, removable upper section with a fitted drawer; stand with shallow drawer and sliding work basket, on square, tapered legs joined by stretchers, ht. 30 1/2, wd. 21, dp. 15 in. Top with minor losses to crossbanding and shrinkage cracks; lost oval mounts to front areas of each side and lacking escutcheon; large veneer chip at top of left front leg; age typical additional minor defects.
