Victorian Ivory and Boxwood String-inlaid Work Box on Stand, c. 1840, with turned wood carrying handle and two beveled glass panels enclosing a silk tufted interior, on splayed legs joined by a galleried shelf stretcher, ht. 35, wd. 17, dp. 14 in. Very good to excellent condition; possibly some replacements to inlaid stringing; interior very good; shelf stretcher with minor dark staining.
