After Leon Tharel (French, 1858-1902), Patinated Bronze Figure of a Lad Resting with his Violin, Idle Fiddle , the reclining boy in green and red patinated jacket and breeches, his fiddle leaning against his chest, his bow resting loosely in his hand, on rectangular green marble base, with incised signature and Susse Freres foundry mark, ht. 11 1/2, base 12 1/4 x 7 7/8 in. handle of bow does not appear original, or was simply not fully finished when manufactured.
