Dutch Baroque-style Fruitwood Marquetry-inlaid Walnut Dressing Chest and Mirror, 19th century, rectangular mirror plate with shaped cresting and scrolled uprights; bombe case fitted with four long drawers, inlaid designs of flowering foliage, ht. 33 1/2, wd. 39, dp. 22 in. Top now plugged so mirror cannot be attached to base; some chipping to traversing rails; shrinkage and veneer loss to sides; top with some minor losses and fill-in repairs, with right side edge off and in two pieces, but present; age typical additional minor imperfections.
