George III Painted Satinwood Work Box on Stand, c. 1800, domed top painted with a neoclassical chariot scene with nymph, cherub and scorpion, silk-lined interior with bone sewing implements, stand with drawer and square tapered legs and splayed feet all joined by a shelf stretcher, ht. 34 1/2, wd. 15 3/4, dp. 13 in. Top wit three long shrinkage cracks and a few small ones; minor rubing to paint with age typical additional minor defects and imperfections.
