of lozenge form with a lobed rim, the center decorated with an oval panel enclosing two scholars and two meirens in a fenced garden, surrounded by eight Buddhist emblems, , the rim decorated with figures and flower-filled vases, the reverse painted with floral decoration, all raised on a tall foot rim decorated with peonies on a band of keyfret. Width 14 1/4 inches.
