American, early 20th century. Prince Albert Tobacco advertising poster, print on fabric laid down on white panel, circa 1920s. Advertisement depicts a portly old white man in white collared shirt and denim overalls with white hair, rosy cheeks and lips, and a grin on his face smoking from a pipe with plumes of smoke rising from it. To his lower right is a depiction of the red Prince Albert Tobacco can of the era, and to his left reads "Prince Albert - the national joy smoke. No other tobacco is like it". Inscribed below image "M'F'D. by R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co., Winston-Salem, NC.". Overall measures approximately 28.5" x 59".
