comprising an open armchair and a side chair, each with a serpentine foliate crest rail over a pierce carved splat worked with ribbon-tied oak leaves, acorns and C-scrolls, the armchair having dolphin handholds with entwined tails, both chairs with trapezoidal stuffover seats and raised on cabriole legs ending in hairy paw feet. Height 39 1/4 inches.
