Conant Ball (American (Gardner, MA), founded 1852-circa 1990) for ModernMates line. A two piece set of bedroom furniture comprising a brushed birch dresser and chest of drawers, the dresser drawer facade with three rows of 9 drawers resting on two front feet with projecting molding and back continuing from top to floor, the chest of drawers comprising of five drawers, two short over three long, the top long drawer with molded compartment at left separated by a divider from the squared compartment at right. Interior stamped "Conant Ball Furniture Makers/Founded 1852". Approximate height of dresser 32.25", width 58.25", depth 20.25", approximate height of dresser 32.25", depth 20.25", width 58.25". Note: Some have attributed the ModernMates line to Russel Wright (1904-1976), others have attributed the line to Leslie Diamond.
