Limited "Republic" edition, number 59 of 100 copies, this set printed for William Mack, M.D. With 122 full-page color plates, each with captioned tissue guard, including hand colored mounted plates, etchings, engravings, and chromolithographs, with numerous in-text illustrations. Light soiling to boards; ends chipped on some vols.; original red elastic corner fasteners detached but laid-in to most vols.
