Tir National, Morges 1891 S. Jaccard Du Gros, Ste-Croix, No. 43947. Made circa 1890. Fine, nielloed silver, openface, keyless pocket watch commemorating the Tir National de Morges in 1891. Four-body, massive, "demi-bassine", bezel and band with oak, laurel and berry damascened decoration, the back decorated with an infant holding a crossbow standing in front of the Lake Leman. Hinged silver cuvette with inscription. White enamel with black Arabic numerals, outer minute track with Arabic 5 minute markers, subsidiary seconds. Pink gold Louis XVI hands.
