Fine and rare, 18k gold pair-case quarter repeating pocket watch chiming on a bell. Outer: two-body, engine-turned pierced and engraved reverse to central fl ower motif, pierced and engraved bezel. Inner; Pierced and engraved foliate pattern to central Pheonix bird, aperture for winding. White enamel with black Roman numerals, outer minutes with 5 minute Arabic numerals. Gold beetle and poker hands. 31 mm., gilt full plate, turned pillars, fusee with chain, cylinder escapement, three-arm steel balance, fl at balance spring, single footed balance cock fi nely pierced and engraved with foliage and pheonix, diamond endstone, silver regulation dial. Chiming via two polished steel hammers on a steel bell. Dial, movement signed and dust-cover signed. Case with makers stamp IW. Diam. 52 mm.
