The Elton John AIDS Foundation is an international non-profit organization which provides funding for programs that provide services to people living with HIV/AIDS, educational programs targeted at AIDS prevention, and/or elimination of prejudice and discrimination against HIV affected individuals. The Charity, with offices in Los Angeles and London, was established in 1992 by Elton John, who currently serves as its Chairman. Funding from the Elton John AIDS Foundation encompasses a broad spectrum of direct care services supporting men, women, young adults, children, infants, minorities, and entire families living with HIV/AIDS.
