PanJames Cox, London, No. 1586, circa 1775.Very fine and rare 18 ct. gold and enamel watch with three concealed erotic scenes, made for the Chinese market. 28 mm o, hinged, gilt brass full plate with conical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, single-footed gilt brass cock pierced and engraved with mask at the base, rack and pinion regulator.Signed and numbered on the movement.Diam. 40 mm.
