Hubert, London No 1846, marked GA over PE in cartouche, circa 1760.Very fine and rare 18 ct. gold, diamond-, red garnet-, and tourmaline-set lady's pendant watch accompanied by a chatelaine with crank key and two seals. White enamel, Roman chapters, outer minute ring with five-minute Arabic numerals. Blued-steel beetle and poker hands. Notes Hubert David.He is listed in the Baillie as a eminent maker, he entered the Clockmakers' Company in 1743. He is succeeded by Joseph Barnes, circa 1747.
