Ta, ta!--Carl Schurz" depicting a poltical satire of Schurz as a fly holding "Letter to the Evening Post Endorsing Cleveland" in hand caught in the "Republican Web" visualized as spider web with a crouching man in "Grandfather's Hat"; and another by Opper titled "A Washington's-Birthday Cartoon for the Bloody-Shift Statesmen: Other War Memories (in background).--Why not take us along, too? The more the merrier!", lower left corner with "J. Ottmann, Lith. PUCK BUILDING, N.Y." depicting Sherman and Reid walking arm in arm with American skeletal soldier with others trailing behind.
