Very fine and rare, stainless steel military, round single button, back and forth “retrograde” chronograph. three-body, brushed, lobed revolving bezel, wire lugs. white with painted Arabic numerals graduated from 0.5 to 14, the red hand on the outer graduation in fifth of second can be set by turning the bezel. “Bâton” blued steel chronograph hand. Notes This instrument is a rare version of a chronograph with a hand running both forward or backward. It was used by several Air Forces to calculate the elapsed time for throwing bombs.
