Produced circa 1920-40.Fine, rectangular, silver and painted-on-enamel singing bird box. the top centered with the painted-on-enamel medallion depicting two putti with flowers and a dove, surrounded by large oval painted on enamel scene with putti playing with doves, one holding a torch, borders with white and blue enamel, side panels decorated en suite with playing putti and rural scenes, hinged rear panel revealing compartment for the key, engraved silver back panel. rectangular, large going barrel with air and song cams underneath, rectangular bellows.Back panel signed.Dim. 100 x 65 x 37 mm.
