“Belgian Pair-Cased Watch” Adam Lambeman a Bruxelles, No. 33. Made circa 1750. Fine and rare, 20K gold pair-cased pocket watch. Outer: two-body, “bassine”, engraved with a swirling pattern, inner: two-body, “bassine”, polished. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, Arabic five minute numerals. Rose-cut diamond-set hands. 36 mm., hinged, gilt full plate, square baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, three-arm steel balance, flat balance spring, pierced and engraved balance cock, silver regulation dial. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 47 mm.
