Fine, large, military style, water-resistant, self-winding, stainless steel chronometer wristwatch with date and a stainless steel Arnold buckle. To be sold without reserve Three-body, polished, wide curved and stepped bezel, large screwed-down winding crown, engraved back with 8 screws, straight lugs with screwed bars, curved band. Black with applied luminous steel tapered baton indexes and broad arrow marker at 12, outer white painted minute divisions with Arabic five-minute numerals, guilloche subsidiary seconds, aperture for the date. Luminous steel épée hands. Cal. 295, rhodium plated, 21 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, selfcompensating flat balance spring, shock absorber, micrometer regulator. Dial and case signed. Diam. 42 mm. Thickness 13 mm. Notes Made to commemorate the contributions of John Arnold to British seafaring and navigation, this model is inspired by the watches supplied to the British Navy by the Admiralty. The movement is an officially certified chronometer and is advertised as being accurate to five seconds per day.
