Art Deco Gryphon International Watch Co. , Schaffhausen, No. 830323, case No. 858045. Made in the 1920’s. Very fine, keyless, two-color 14K yellow and white gold, Art Deco dress watch. Four-body, "bassine et filets", reeded bezels, case back decorated with vertical alternating stripes of white and yellow gold, at the upper edge a chased winged gryphon, milled bezel and back rim, band chased with a continuous band of berried laurel highlighted with black wax. Hinged gold bezel. Frosted silver with applied yellow gold Arabic numerals, outer dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds dial. Yellow gold cathédrale hands.
