Fine, silver, keyless deck lever chronometer with indirect centreseconds and Guillaume balance. Accompanied by the original mahogany deck box. To be sold without reserve Three-piece, massive, “bassine et filets”, polished, the bezel without glass, the screwed back with milled border engraved with the Navy Registration mark. Two-tier mahogany deck box, the brass bowl with glazed screw-down bezel. White enamel with radial Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute and seconds ring with fifths of a second divisions. Blued steel spade hands. 22’’’, frosted and gilt, 21 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, anibalbrass Guillaume balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with terminal curve and swan-neck micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Deck box signed and with Hydrographic Services reference numbers. Diam. 56 mm. Notes Such deck watches were designed to be used in their mahogany box and were therefore fitted with a bezel without glass.
