PATECK CHRONOMETER POCKET WATCH YELLOW GOLD Pateck, Geneve (not Patek Philippe), No. 16541/8242. Made circa 1910. Fine, 18k yellow gold Chronometer pocket watch. Four-body, bassine et filets, polished. Engine turned caseback, hinged gold cuvette engraved chronometre, glazed back covering the movement. White enamel with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions and Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel breguet hands. 42mm. half-plate, rhodium plated, 25 jewels, the upper ones in screwed gold chatons, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometer index regulator with adjustment screw. Case signed and numbered. Notes DIAM. 53 mm. THICKNESS 16 mm.
