Persian, late 19th/early 20th century. Two diminutive hand painted gouache rectangular panels with figural scenes within gilt frame. Upper panel with six figures on horseback wearing turbans and playing polo amid a landscape marked with trees and flowering bushes; lower panel with figures enjoying an afternoon in a garden by drinking tea, dancing and listening to music. Both panels unsigned. Overall framed approximately 12.125" x 16". Top panel sight size approximately 1.25" x 4". Lower panel sight size approximately 1.4" x 4.4".
