Frankart (American 1920s-1930s), Candlesticks very similar to No. C101. Pair of original Frankart figural candlesticks in patinated bronze metal. Each bronze candlestick with a female nude holding a cylindrical candleholder over their shoulder against their cheek. Feet of figure gracefully meld into leaf or floral form base. According to the catalog, figural candlestick symbolic of the flame. Marked on back of circular foot with copyright mark and 1921. Marked underneath with copyright mark and "ARTHUR VON FRANKENBERG 1921". Exceptionally rare bronze Frankart figural candlesticks originally produced for employees in house as gifts, said to be in extremely limited edition of a dozen or less. Height 12".
