D. F. Dubois à Paris, Swiss, circa 1780. Fine 18 ct. gold center seconds watch with special escapement. Double body, Louis XVI, polished, a monogram engraved on the back. White enamel, eccentric, with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring, center seconds Arabic chapter on the border. Gold Louis XVI hands with counterpoised center seconds. GiIt brass full plate with conical pillars, fusee and chain, virgule escapement with plain brass three armed balance, gilt brass continental cock and polished steel endpiece. Signed on the dial and the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 50mm.
