Very fine, "World Time", 18ct gold gentleman's wristwatch. massive, polished, revolving bezel bearing the names of 41 towns of the world, teardrop lugs. mat silver, with applied gold indexes and Roman numerals, concentric, revolving dial in 24 hours bearing the nocturnal and diurnal hours. Hand engraved bezel. Gold fancy hands. Notes A similar watch is published in Patek Philippe Wristwatches, page 187. This "World Time" system was patented and invented by Louis Cottier for Patek Philippe, Vacheron & Constantin, Agassiz and Rolex.
