Anonymous, Swiss, circa 1820. Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel hour and half hour striking, hour repeating clockwatch. Three body, "forme quatre baguettes", with reeded hand and enamel back painted with a young maiden with outer paillonné decoration. GiIt brass hinged cuvette. Gold engine-turned with Roman numerals, outer applied tow coloured cast gold floral decoration. Blued steel Breguet hands. GiIt brass, bar caliber, with free standing barrels both for the going and the striking trains. Cylinder escapement with plain brass three arm balance, flat balan ce spring and polished steel end-piece. Striking and repeating on gongs with button on the pendant. In very good condition, with a gold agate set key. Diam. 57 mm.
