Lechet A Paris, N. 561, circa 1800. Very fine gold, enamel and rose diamond set quarter-repeating watch. Engraved band, the front bezel set with split- Dearls, the back with rose diamonds within pale Dlue borders, the centre of blue translucent enamel over engine-turning with large rose in the centre within gold paillon petal surround and matching border. White enamel, Arabic numerals and outer minutes. Gold quatrafoil hands. Gilt brass full plate, fusee with chain, verge escapement with plain brass balance and flat balance spring. Pierced continental cock with steel end piece, quarter-repeating on a bell and atoc by depressing the pendant. Signed on the dial and movement. In excellent condition. Diam. 48mm.
