French, late 19th century. Matched pair of Paris Porcelain table lamps in the Neo-Grec taste, converted from vases, both with two white and gilt simulated bamboo square handles, a Greek key fret register to the collar and base, the body with a matte black glaze, decorated to both sides with a standing classically robed maiden on chariot pulled by four horses, both mounted on turned socle base. Height 18", width 5.5" (handle to handle).
