Early 20th century French style petite mahogany and ebony strung cylinder bureau, bureau de dame or ladies roll top desk with shaped backsplash above a cylinder bureau opening to a pull-out green baize inlaid writing surface and 6 pigeon holes and single drawer all removable with hidden slots behind, over a pair of short drawers with French gilt bronze circular laurel pulls, raised on square tapering legs ending on casters. Height 40.5", width 30" depth 18.25".
