Double body Louis XVI, the bezels with a blue champleve enamelled floral decoration, the engineturned back enamelled with a medaillon finely painted en grisaille with symbols of love and fidelity over a pink ground, outer blue champleve enamelled foliage and ribbon decoration. White enamel with small eccentric Roman chapter with outer Arabic minute ring, centre seconds with Arabic numerals on the border of the bezel. Blued steel "poker and beetle" hands. Hinged gilt brass with baluster pillars, fusee with chain, plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass English cock with matching back plate applied decoration, diamond end-stone. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
