Clouzier à Paris, circa 1690. Fine and rare gilt brass Louis XIV oignon with central winding and enamel cock. Double body," oignon", engraved with foliage and entrelacs. GiIt brass with Roman numerals on enamel cartouches, the centre engraved with foliage. Blued steel single hand. Hinged gilt brass full plate with Egyptian pillars, fusee with chain, plain brass three-arm balance, early short flat balance spring, gilt brass Louis XIV cock set with a fine enamel panel painted with the portrait of a lady playing mandolin, on a black ground, in the manner of the Huaud workshop. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 60 mm.
